Karl Klayton Kitchel

Karl Klayton Kitchel, 59, passed away August 7, 2023 in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was born July 25, 1964 in Elk City, Oklahoma, to parents Jo Carole and Clinton Albert Kitchel. After graduating from Erick High School, he joined the Army. Karl was an Army Ranger in the 3rd battalion 75th regiment from 1984-1987. He ended his career as a postmaster after being with the Post Office for 25 years. Karl was loved by many, he will be missed by not only his biological family, but the also by the many he considered "bonus" children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Jo Carole Kitchel; Wife of 31 years, Patti Kitchel; Children Brittany Wright, Cierra Kitchel, and Dakota Kitchel; Grandchildren Klay Wright, Adelynn Wright, Kamdyn Strider, Kaitlyn Strider, Kadyn Strider, and Madison Babb; along with the many others he took in as one of his own.
