Kathy J. Williams

Kathy J. Williams, 75, of Yukon, OK, died April 14, 2026, at Integris Baptist Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Duncan, OK, on October 20, 1950, the daughter of Rex A. and Mary ‘Jackie’ (Halligan) Hudson. She was the youngest of two children. On May 20, 1972, she married Steven L. Williams.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Steven Williams, parents, Rex and Jackie Hudson, and sister Karen Page (Hudson).

She is survived by a nephew, Matthew Todd Crisp (Melanie); nieces, Lisa Burnam (Matt), and Donna Page; great-nieces, Crystal Montee (Gail), Catharyn Fite, Cari Lewis (Kyle), Charity Watson (Jordan), and Emma Crisp; great-nephews, Christian Klarich and Evan Crisp; great-great-nieces, Lillian Montee and Khloe Montee and great-great-nephew, Samuel Watson, as well as her fur babies, Riggs, Lupe and Belen.

Kathy graduated from Duncan High School in 1968 and finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 1972. She worked as a Paralegal and Office Manager for an Oil and Gas Law Firm as well as in a Medical Malpractice Defense Firm. Kathy was known for her generous personality, kind curiosity, and intelligent conversation.

Kathy has been blessed with an abundance of friends throughout her lifetime. Her friendships were lifelong treasures, built on love, loyalty, and shared memories over many decades. Kathy’s strength of character and focus on uplifting those she loved and cared for led many through their own life challenges and into calmer waters. She was a role model for doing what was right, resilience and taking personal responsibility. She was a positive force in the lives of all who knew her, touching family and friends alike with her warmth and strength.

She spent her spare time travelling to favored locations of Zihuatanejo, MX and Seaside, FL. She took lifelong learning classes at the University of Arizona as a diverse scholar of the arts and sciences, including subjects ranging from astronomy to artificial intelligence.

A visitation honoring Kathy’s joyous life will be held from 9 am – 12 pm on Monday, April 20 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Duncan, OK.
