Katy Sue Frederick

Katy "Sue" Frederick, 87, of Yukon passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord on June 4, 2025. She was born on October 29, 1937, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Claude and Katie Mae (Wright) Sutton.

The most important calling and job Sue had was loving and raising her children and taking care of her family. She enjoyed Bible studies, reading, playing games with family, and working jigsaw puzzles. Sitting outside enjoying the fresh air and listening to the birds was something she looked forward to on warm sunshiny days. For a number of years beginning in the 1980's Sue was a sales consultant for Home Interiors and Gifts and enjoyed helping women host parties in their homes. She was very enthusiastic about the wall art, collectible figurines, and gift items the company offered.

She was a long-time member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma and will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and sincere friend who will be missed by all who loved her.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arlen Frederick; sisters Maerene Reed and Earlene Schopf, and grandsons Shaun Fegley, Dustin Clark, and Jeffrey Stevens. She is survived by sister, Claudine Shafer of Mustang; son Jim Frederick and wife Darla of Newport News, VA; daughter Sheila Stevens and husband Glenn of Yukon; son Steve Rolen and wife Jacqui of Yukon; daughter Linda Kern of Allentown, PA, and daughter Sherri Rolen of Yukon, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma or Gideons International.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma.
