Keith Drennen

Donald Keith Drennen, 38, was born on September 21, 1984, and grew up in Yukon, where he graduated from Yukon High School in 2003. He then attended University of Oklahoma where he was a walk-on offensive lineman his freshman year and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2008. He was well respected for his diligent work as a Licensed Professional Engineer. He married Amber on June 8, 2013. They enjoyed vacationing in Vegas and watching OU basketball and football games together. Keith loved seeing his nieces and nephews play sports, having pool days with friends, watching OU sports, cooking, entertaining, and tailgating. He was a loyal husband, cherished son and brother, fun uncle, and generous friend. He was such a gregarious person that no matter where he went, everyone knew who he was and enjoyed chatting with him. Keith has gone on to see his mother, Susan Drennen; and grandparents Keith and Norma Barry, and Don and Helen Drennen, again. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Amber; father Mike Drennen and step-mother Luz, of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Jimi Drennen and wife Amber, of Norman, OK; brother Nick Stroot and wife Elizabeth, of Rapid City, SD; sister Jamie Alexander and husband Dusty, of Del City, OK; sister Katie Drennen, of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law Sheryl and husband Craig, of Branchburg, NJ; uncle Ric Drennen and wife Becky, of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt Joni Jenkins and husband Larry, of Jones, OK; aunt-in-law Pam Rogers and husband Patrick, of Edmond, OK; and grandparents-in-law Raymond and Shirley Pappe, of Oklahoma City, OK. He was uncle to ten nieces and nephews: Gavin, Mackenzie, Brylee, Kaydence, Zane, Brock, Mallory, Mckenzi, Micah, and James. In lieu of flowers, Keith's family requests donations be made to LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma. LifeShare allowed Keith to donate invaluable gifts. God needed another Angel and those of us left behind will surely miss him until, God willing, we meet again. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Yanda Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon, OK.
