Kelvin Oteyo Orioki

Kelvin Oteyo Orioki left this world unexpectedly on December 3 ^rd , 2022 at the age of 38. He was born on January 10 ^th , 1984 to John and Susan Orioki in Kisii, Kenya. Kelvin was awarded a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Nairobi Aviation College in 2007. In 2011, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Following a deep desire to serve, Kelvin enlisted in the US Army in 2018 where he served for three years as a behavioral health specialist. He was awarded the Army Certificate of Achievement, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon.

He was very proud of his military service and being an Army Veteran. His experiences were vast and exceptional. He enjoyed mixing music, cooking, and was always making lifelong family friends.

Kelvin was a loving father to his three rambunctious boys alongside his partner, Christine. He would let down his guard to cherish the joy they gave to him; they greatly cherished his warm embrace and loving humor.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, John Orioki Maua. He is survived by his three sons Jesse Maua Orioki; Marcus Mogaka Orioki; and Lucas Magembe Orioki, his mother, Susan, his brothers Denis and Luiz, his sisters Irene and Immaculate, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK, with interment following at 1:00 p.m., at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK. A reception will follow at the Old Plantation in Medicine Park, OK.
