Kevin Wayne Edgmon

Kevin Edgmon, 53, of Oklahoma City, OK, left his earthly body and entered God's presence on July 14th, 2023.  He was born April 14th, 1970 to Ron and Darla Edgmon in Denison, TX.

Kevin was truly an amazing person for all those who knew him.  He was a friend, confidant, sounding board, and advisor. He seemed to have a knack for breaking things down and making life a little more practical for all those around him.

Kevin has worked to build a thriving business at GFPS for nearly two decades.  Just as he did in his personal life, Kevin brought a group of people together that not only became a family, but also the beating heart of the company.

Life was always a little more fun with Kevin around.  Whether it was a song to share, a random new gadget to use, or something new to collect, he always found a way to create a relationship with those around him.  It was truly his life mission to show everyone around him how much he loved and cared about them.  His family was always at the top of his priority list, but that family always had room for one more.

Kevin was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend to so many.  He is survived by his wife, Christina (Tina) Edgmon; son, Hayden Edgmon; son and wife, Jacob and Ashlyn Edgmon; son, Payton Edgmon; brother and wife, Ryan and Tiffany Edgmon; parents Ron and Darla Edgmon; as well as countless in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament Ave. Yukon, OK 73099. Viewing will be available at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
