Kevin Clay Warren

Kevin Clay Warren, 65, peacefully closed his eyes on earth and opened them in eternity on May 7, 2026, passing away at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Kevin was born in Portland, Oregon on April 2, 1961, to Kenneth Warren and Morna Martinez.

One of Kevin’s first great adventures in life was joining the United States Air Force. He proudly served for three years, where he developed the discipline, responsibility, and technical skills that would lay the foundation for a successful lifelong career in computer technology. His time in the Air Force helped shape the hardworking, dependable, and dedicated man so many came to know and love.

In 1986, Kevin met the love of his life, Lisa Delling, and her son, Lyle Langley, in Wichita, Kansas. The following year, in 1987, Kevin and Lisa were united in marriage and began building a life together. Their family continued to grow with the birth of their daughters Katie in 1989 and Sarah in 1992.

Kevin was a devoted husband and father who never missed an opportunity to show his family how deeply he loved and cared for them. Together, Kevin and Lisa built a beautiful life centered on faith, love, and family. They first moved to Colorado in 1989 before settling in Oklahoma in 1993.

During Kevin’s career, he worked as a computer programmer in both the finance and insurance industries and most recently served as a Major Incident Manager before retiring in 2024. He was known for his strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Kevin spent his life faithfully serving his family and others. He could often be found in the kitchen cooking for those he loved, whether it was his famous steaks, homemade ice cream, prime rib, or sneaking all the sweet treats he could find. He took great pride in caring for his home and yard, which was always immaculate, and he genuinely enjoyed mowing, detailing his cars, and tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on.

Kevin’s greatest joy was his family — especially his grandchildren. Known lovingly as “Pa” and “Papa,” he treasured every moment spent with his nine grandchildren. Whether playing, teasing, teaching, or simply spending time together, Kevin made each grandchild feel deeply loved and special.

Above all else, Kevin loved the Lord and faithfully served his church family at First Baptist Church Yukon, Oklahoma. Church was a significant part of his life, and he joyfully served in many ministries throughout the years. Kevin was a deacon, helped lead the Agape Sunday School Class for young married couples, volunteered with Vacation Bible School, served in Ventures Kids Ministry, attended children’s church camps as a counselor (even though he would’ve preferred going as a camper), and lovingly cooked Wednesday night meals for the congregation. He had a servant’s heart and a childlike joy that made him beloved by both children and adults alike.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Lisa Warren; his children, Lyle Langley and girlfriend Erin, Katie Davis and husband Chase, Sarah Stringer and husband Chandler, and Chelsea Gallant and husband Jonathan; and his cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn Cox, Lyndon Cox, Lawson Langley, Easton Crain, Hudson Chisum, Brodie Davis, River Clay Davis, and Colton and Warren Stringer. He is also survived by his mother, Morna Martinez; his sisters, Alana Gonzales and Jodie Warren; and his brother, Mervin Warren. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Warren, his sister Becky Taylor, his brother Steven Warren.

Kevin will be remembered as a faithful husband, the best father and grandfather, loyal friend, and devoted servant of Christ. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Kevin’s memory by attending church, serving others, and finding a loving church home where you can grow in faith and community.

A time of visitation and viewing for friends and family will be held at Yanda & Son Funeral Home of Yukon, Oklahoma on May 14, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the family present to greet visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will take place at First Baptist Church, Yukon, Oklahoma on May 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, Oklahoma.
