Klint Clyde Newton Sanchez

Klint Clyde Newton Sanchez passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his home in Mustang, OK.

My goofy and loving husband, Klinton Sanchez, was born in Witchita Falls, TX to Sherry LaDonna Johnson and Alfredo Sanchez. From the moment he could walk, he was a handful. He spent many summers in Corpus Christi visiting his Abuela. He stayed busy in high school singing in the choir, dancing, and performing in musicals. We met at Baylor University and got engaged our senior year. In 2018, we married and Klint received his DO at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Klint started his intern year of Family Medicine that summer and graduated in 2021.

Though Klint struggled in his final years with his own emotional turmoil often disguised as stoicism, he was devoted to healing others' pain and bringing a smile to those around him. Nothing gave him more joy than sparking laughter in others and clowning around with friends and family. He was so clever and mischievous, no one made me laugh as often or loudly as he did.  In short, he was a good man. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Ellie Lastrapes; father, Alfredo Sanchez; sister, Tiffany Sanchez; grandmother, Maria Sanchez, uncle, Wally Sanchez and his wife Ruth Sanchez, as well as a large and loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry LaDonna Johnson and his aunt, Magdalena Nana Sanchez.

His life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Grace Church, 600 N. Mustang Rd., Yukon, OK.
