Larry Don Dieball

Larry Don Dieball was born on January 7, 1953 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Don and Nedra Dieball. He was called home into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Growing up Larry was raised with a strong Christian faith and was presently attending Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.  He graduated from Bethany Nazarene College (Southern Nazarene University) and married the love of his life Gaynelle one week after graduation. After college the two made their homes in Bethany and Yukon, OK.  At the time of his passing Larry was working for Sign Innovations in OKC. During his lifetime he worked in sales for various companies for 43 years.  Larry was the first sales person to accomplish 2 million in sales for Tyler Outdoor Advertising.  After leaving Tyler Outdoor eventually Larry started his own outdoor advertising business.  He was passionate about sales and was very good at it.

Larry loved coaching his three sons in sports.  Baseball was the main sport and "the boys" were involved in.  All three played varsity baseball in high school and Larry was able to see his oldest play at Southern Nazarene University, Larry's alma mater.  Larry was at his happiest surrounded by family which included two grandsons.  He loved smoking his family's favorite meals for family dinners.  He never missed watching OU football games on TV and was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves.  Another passion was sailing on Lake Hefner with his wife after the baseball years.  Papa Larry loved going to his grandson Kasyn's baseball and hockey games.  Little baby Kyler would smile so big when Papa Larry entered the room.

In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by stepdad Virgil Down.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gaynelle.  Children - Jon Dieball and wife Nikki, Mike Dieball and girlfriend Liz, Justin Dieball and fiance Alison; two grandchildren Kasyn and Kyler; his sister Brenda Standefer and two nieces and one nephew.  A memorial service will be held at Crossings Community Church, located at 14600 N. Portland Ave.  Oklahoma City, Oklahoma  on Tuesday, October 10th at 11:00 AM.
