Lee Eugene Hadlow

The life of Lee Eugene Hadlow, but everyone knew him as Gene, age 78, died Tuesday February 6th, 2024, in OKC, OK. Gene was born August 30th, 1945, in Sallisaw, OK, to Lester Hubert Hadlow and Nora Lou Hadlow (Collins). He resided with his family in Yukon, OK, since 1968. Gene moved many times during his childhood and attended various schools including Stilwell, Sallisaw, and ended his education at Central High in OKC, OK.

Gene worked at Yukon Flour Mill, Yukon Co-Op, and then at Great Dane as a trailer mechanic. He and his brother Johnny also had a mechanic shop and worked on friends' vehicles in their spare time. Gene enjoyed is Parkinson's exercise class and walking in the park. He attended church at Richland Church of the Nazarene. Gene was known for his kindness, as well as his ornery/joker nature. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Gene is survived by sister Edith Marie Alexander (Hadlow) of Yukon, OK; wife Judy Anne Hadlow (Rivers) (celebrated 55 years and 7 months of marriage); son Danny Wayne Hadlow of Yukon, OK; daughter Cathy Jo Chavez (Hadlow) of Midwest City, OK;  grandchildren Jeffery Walker, Ashley Walker, Brandon Walker, Jessica Walker, Chelsea Walker; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester Hubert Hadlow and Nora Lou Hadlow (Collins); siblings Viola Mae Parker (Hadlow) of Stilwell, OK, Elender Cordelia Unger (Hadlow) of Stilwell, OK, Thomas Howard Hadlow of Stilwell, OK, Wayne Monroe Hadlow of Stilwell, OK, John Paul Hadlow of Yukon, OK, Walker Hadlow of Evansville, AR, Anna Electra Hadlow of Stilwell, OK, and Nora Caldonia Hadlow Stilwell, OK,; and son Jerry Lee Hadlow of Yukon, OK.

Viewing will be at Yanda and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at Richland Church of the Nazarene on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
