Linda Jo Crossen

With heavy hearts we share that Linda Jo Crossen, 76, of Yukon, OK, passed away at home with her family on October 23, 2025.

She was born in Rueter, Missouri, on May 9, 1949, to Henry Harding & Wilma Maxine Wyman. She loved growing up on a farm with her two sisters, Alice & Betty. She was a talented seamstress at an early age and won many prizes for her work. She loved showing horses and barrel racing. At age 17, she caught the eye of a cute basketball player and never looked back! Jim and Linda quickly married and started a family. She was very creative and loved arranging flowers and decorating (especially for Christmas!). She later loved photography and making digital albums. As a young couple, they began to go to church, and God soon became a priority for them. Linda gave her life to Jesus in 1971, as a young, pregnant mother. They raised their three girls to love God and church, which set the foundation for their entire lives. They served as youth ministers and loved leading children's musicals for so many years. She had an overwhelming love for missions and was the mission's director for many years. She lived out her love for Christ through her love and generosity for others. She was an amazing wife and mother and absolutely loved being a Meme.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hardy and Maxine Wyman, and her sister, brother-in-law, and niece, Alice, Hestel, and Kathy Silvey.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, James Larry Crossen; her three daughters, Tammy (& Todd) Bradford, Teresa (& Nick) Lewis, and Kristi (& Ray) Rhoton; her grandkids, James Wurster, Crossen (& Ashlyn) Bradford, Karyssa (& Santos) Rosales, Kaylin (& Sam) Gmuer, Carter (& Emily) Bradford, Lily Rhoton, and Max Rhoton; and great-grandchildren: Liam, Sofia, Elizabeth, Mateo, Finn, Henry, and Fiona; her sister, Betty (& Pat) Hutchison; many nephews, nieces, and other loved family and friends.

A special "thank you" to her hospice nurse (Tara) and caregivers who were so kind to her in her last days.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Community Church in Yukon, OK, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11 am.
