Linda Lee Spargur

Linda Lee Spargur, 81, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. She was born October 23, 1941 to parents Cecil and Esther James in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Growing up, her family moved across California and Arizona. In her adult years, Linda spent time in Mustang, Cedar Lake, and Eufaula, Oklahoma. She was blessed with three wonderful children. Linda married her husband Wayne Spargur, and they resided in Eufaula for 25 years. Throughout her years in Eufaula, Linda was able to pursue careers at Oklahoma State Bank and Eufaula Shelter Insurance Agency. In her free time, she loved to quilt and crochet. Linda made many beautiful pieces that her loved ones will always treasure. She also was introduced to many great friends of the area, such as Lena and Janie. Linda was an amazing woman, with many family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Linda is preceded in death by both of her parents, husband Wayne Spargur, daughter Tracy Mackey, son Jimmy Salzman, grandson Jeremy Obney, and two brothers. She is survived by son Tim & Mindy Obney, grandchildren; Kit & Kathryn Mackey, Jessica Mackey, Keith Obney, Tara & Patrick Obney-Barnes, Courtney, and Kristen, greatgrandchildren; Patrick Barnes Jr, Ethan Obney, Ryder Obney, Dalton Mackey, and Madison Mackey, and many wonderful friends and neighbors.

Viewing will be held at Yanda and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with graveside services following at 1:00 p.m. at the Yukon Cemetery.
