Lisa Annette Johnson

Lisa Annette Johnson, born December 31, 1972, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.

Lisa was born on December 31, 1972, three months premature, weighing just 3 pounds, 4 ounces. At only nine months old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Despite the challenges she faced, Lisa was a strong and determined woman who overcame physical therapy and surgeries throughout her life. She graduated from secondary high school at Belle Isle in Oklahoma City in 1989.

Lisa worked long and hard hours at the Dale Rogers Training Center for many years. She was a loving, kind-hearted person who loved everyone with all her heart. Her greatest joy, however, was the love she shared with her great-nieces and great-nephews.

Lisa enjoyed coloring, working crossword puzzles, and listening to country music, especially Pam Tillis and Terri Clark. She also had a special love for Care Bears and enjoyed traveling to Colorado.

Lisa leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Long; sister, Mona Wood; nephew, Anthony Johnson; great-nephews, Onyx and Osiris; great-niece, Octavia; nephew, TJ Wise; great-niece, Payton; niece, Holly Smith; nephew-in-law, Dillan Smith; great-nephew, Bentlee Smith; brother, Micheal Johnson; niece, Elizabeth Johnson; great-niece, Laylee; stepfather, Walter C. Potter; step-grandmother, Margaret Nichols; and stepsister, Amanda Potter. She is also survived by many beloved cousins in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Corcoran, California; and Seattle, Washington.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lillian A. Long and Tillman C. Long of California; her step-grandfather, Dick Nichols (Ta-Ta); and her stepbrother, Brian Potter.

Lisa's life was a beautiful reminder that strength, love, and joy can shine through every challenge. Her kind heart, loving spirit, and beautiful presence touched the lives of many. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her, and will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Discovery Church in Yukon, Oklahoma.
