Lonnie Brooks Duncan

Lonnie "Brooks" Duncan, age 66, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on June 10th. He is survived by his parents, Lonnie and Charlene Duncan of Yukon and 3 sisters Sharon, Susan, and Mitzie and 2 brothers Jeff and Steven. Brooks was born on March 15, 1956, in Phoenix, Arizona. He spent most of his school years in Prague, Oklahoma, but graduated from Jones in 1974. Brooks was an avid traveler who saw most of the United States along with parts of Italy and Mexico. He spent time in the military which he so dearly loved. He was a salesman for most of his life and an excellent one at that. Brooks may have struggled some in his lifetime but he was gracious when it came to helping others. Our family is grateful to know that Brooks is finally at peace. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with interment following at 2:00 p.m., at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
