Lynda Laverne Stubblefield

Lynda Laverne (Bivins) Stubblefield, age 88, of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Thursday April 20, 2023 after a brief illness.

Lynda worked as a Layout Operator for AT&T until she retired in 1991. There she met the love of her life Jim Stubblefield who helped her find her worth and loved her unconditionally until God called her home.

Lynda was an example of a woman, wife, and mother driven by her purpose. She always challenged those around her to be the very best version of themselves. She told it to you straight and expected nothing but the best for those she loved.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Flossie Bivins of Tecumseh Oklahoma; previous husband and father to her children, Paul L. Wolf of Oklahoma City; son, Paul L. Wolf II of Oklahoma City; sisters, Ruby "Lee" Fenney, Edith Easley, and Betty Lawrence, and brothers, Earl Harris and Johnnie Bivins.

Lynda is survived by her husband Jim Stubblefield; beloved children, Janice Linn and Fred Hatcher of Yukon, Oklahoma, Teresa Willis and Larry of Moore Oklahoma, Anthony (Tony) Wolf and Kristi of Tuttle, Oklahoma, step-daughters, Ramona McDowell and John of Wichita Kansas, Ranea Lantz and Lynn of Holdenville Oklahoma, and Rhonda Mahurin of Holdenville, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was truly blessed.

Abraham Lincoln said, "All I am and all I hope to be, I owe it to my mother." Andre' Crouch said it best in his song My Tribute, "All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to thee."

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
