Lynn Denise Glasser

Lynn Denise (Russo) Glasser, died June 17, 2022 in Oklahoma City.  Lynn was 68 years old.  Lynn was born in New Jersey, and adopted by Robert and Julie Russo in 1954.  Lynn left New Jersey for Puerto Rico to marry the love of her life, Charles.  The marriage produced three children, Stefanie, C.J. and Kris.   Charles, Lynn, and Stefanie moved to Oklahoma in 1979 for Charles's employment.  Lynn worked as a preschool teacher in Mustang while operating an uncompensated taxi service necessary to raise three kids in the suburbs.  Once the kids were out of the house, Lynn took a job working for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, from which she eventually retired.  Lynn's later years were spent doting on her yorkies, cats, and grandchildren.  Only recently did the number of grandchildren begin to catch up with the pets.  It is unclear whether the cats and yorkies were meant as a challenge to her children to produce more grandchildren.  Lynn would probably never tell us if that was the case.  Lynn is survived by Stefanie, Kris, three granddaughters and a grandson.  We will always carry your memory in our hearts.  A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mustang on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pets and People Humane Society in Yukon.
