Madeline “Maggie” Lucille Rorick, 84, passed away on October 12, 2026. Originally from El Reno, Oklahoma, she was a resident of Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma.

Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Rorick, who passed away on October 7, 2020, and Chet Pivniska, a cherished member of her extended family.

Known affectionately as Grandma Green, Maggie took great pride in her family. She loved sharing stories about her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren held a particularly special place in her heart, and she lovingly called them “her babies.”

Maggie had a personality all her own. With her sassy spirit and warm heart, she made a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Whether during a visit or at the end of a phone call, she made sure to say, “I love you.” Those words were a familiar and treasured part of who she was.

When Maggie was feeling “spry,” as she would say, she enjoyed trips to the casino and going dancing. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family, creating memories that will be shared for years to come.

Maggie’s love for family extended beyond generations and family ties. She cherished the many people who became part of her family through marriage, partnership, and blended family connections. She loved her extended family as her own, welcoming them with the same warmth and affection she gave so freely. To Maggie, family was about love, connection, and the memories made together, and everyone she held dear had a place in her heart.

Maggie leaves behind a legacy of laughter, treasured memories, and a family who will forever remember her loving heart, quick wit, and sassy spirit.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children and their families: Teressa Pivniska and her husband, Chuck; Randy Rorick and his wife, Holly; Shawn McCarty; and Lisa Rorick and her wife, Kerry.

She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Brian Wasserman and his wife, Amber; Brice Wasserman; Braden Wasserman; Breann Roberts; Bracen McCarty; Rachel Rorick Cabbiness; Reid Rorick; Amber Pivniska; Cory Pivniska and his wife, Amanda; and Shay Pivniska Tarrant and her husband, Zac.

Her great-grandchildren include Brooklynn Wasserman and her fiancé, Zach Frazier; Maci Capshew Belford; Kyren Roberts; Jaxon Roberts; Copelan Roberts; Kaitlyn Pivniska; Addison Pivniska; Tayler Pivniska; Cash Pivniska; and Carsyn Pivniska.

She was blessed with four great-great-grandchildren: Finnley Rhae Frazier, Lynnly Brook Frazier, and Charlee Grace Nail.

She is also survived by her brother, Tiny Harrell; her sister-in-law, Lottie Harrell; her sister, Francis Tesh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced by the family.

Forever loved, forever missed, and cherished in our hearts always.
