Mark Edward Klotz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Edward Klotz, who left this world on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the age of 35. Born on March 3, 1988, in Houston, Texas, to Dereatha Jean (Preston) Outlaw and Michael Edward Klotz, Mark was the fourth child in a loving family. He grew up surrounded by his siblings, forming bonds that would last a lifetime.

His charisma and infectious laughter endeared him to everyone he met, and to know Mark was truly to love him. His mischievous spirit brought joy and light into the lives of those around him, creating countless cherished memories.

After a short but fierce battle with aggressive cancer, Mark has found peace. He touched many lives from all walks of life, leaving an indelible "mark" on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. His honesty and ability to find humor in any situation made him a beloved figure among friends and family alike.

Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sylvia Louise (Moore) Eames and Joseph Isaac Preston; paternal grandparents, Carolyn Sue (Romine) Klotz and Edward Antone Klotz; step grandparents, Joan Rae Outlaw and Fred Elmer Outlaw; and his stepfather, Craig Steven Outlaw.

Mark is survived by his mother, Dede Outlaw; father, Mike Klotz; siblings, Amy Klotz, Lisa Stacho, David Klotz, Wesley Outlaw, and Steven Outlaw; and nephews Joseph Hughes (Amelia) and Trevor Hughes. He leaves behind too many friends and family to mention, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held at Coles Garden in Oklahoma City on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. All who knew Mark are invited to join in honoring his remarkable life and the joy he brought to so many.

Mark Edward Klotz will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
