Michael Andrew Bowman

Michael Andrew Bowman, age 33, passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 22nd, 2024. Michael was born on October 2, 1991, in Edmond, Oklahoma, and grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma, where he resided from 1999 onward. He graduated from Yukon High School in 2009.

Michael worked as a contractor specializing in home repairs and improvements, contributing his skills to many projects. He also worked alongside his grandfather and uncle at Libra Electric for several years. Throughout his life, Michael was dedicated to his faith and was a born-again Christian, having been baptized at the age of 12.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Angie and James Neely, Jackie Martin, and Sally Ann Martin.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Elizabeth Dixon, and three stepdaughters: Amirra Killip, Kirra Hawkins, and Kaitlynn Hawkins. He is also survived by his parents, Billy and Toni Patterson; his siblings, Andrea West and her fiancé Jake Lininger, Billy Patterson Jr. and his wife Karsten, and Giorgia Patterson; his grandparents, Ronnie and Olivia Campbell, John and Sally Hibbs, and Charles and Susan Bowman. Michael will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 6:00 p to 7:00 p.m. at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, located in Yukon, OK. A Celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the same location with interment to follow at Frisco Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Michael's name to Adult & Teen Challenge. Donations can be made via checks payable to Adult & Teen Challenge and sent to P.O. Box 270365, Oklahoma City, OK. 73137. Specify designation for men's, women's, or adolescent groups in the memo section if desired.  At this time, the adolescent group is in the greatest need. Donations made "in memory of Michael Bowman" will be acknowledged.
