Michael Lee Cox Pinion

Michael (Mike) Lee Cox Pinion, passed away on March 15th, 2024 at the age of 65 in his home with his loving husband Rob by his side.

Michael was born March 29, 1958 in Mayhen West Germany to Edward Donald Cox and Maria Christine Cox. He worked as a craftsman and sales representative, until he made his career as a truck driver starting in 2003. He left the trucking industry in 2020 and began a new journey most recently working for Napa Auto Parts. In 2018 he met Rob Pinion and they wed on July 19th, 2019. Rob and Mike enjoyed the last 5 years living in Oklahoma City.

Mike was a devout Christian and dedicated brother, uncle, friend and husband who loved his family very much. He cherished time with his family and friends, being outside in his backyard as he considered that his happy place and also loved being a dog dad to his dogs Mia, Dahlia, Abbey and Ali. He always handled life's challenges with determination and grit. He always put others first and was a humble, honorable man and a lesson to us all in integrity, compassion and strength.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother Maria, father Donald, brother Roy and mother-in-law Betty. He is survived by his husband, Rob Pinion, his sisters; Caroline (Dianna) Cox and Donnette Jeffers and his nieces and nephews; April, Amber, Matthew and Kristel as well as 5 great nieces and nephews; Sareal, Ahnia, Timothy, Mathew and Justin.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, OK.
