Michael Ray Johnson, Iii

Michael Ray Johnson, III, 27, passed away May 28, 2023 in Yukon, OK. He was born April 7, 1996 in Cushing, OK, the son of Michael Ray Johnson, II and Dana Marie (Bergman) Johnson.

He enjoyed many activities including Boy Scouts and FFA, with his project of showing pigs. Michael loved working on cars and motorcycles, tearing them apart with the challenge of putting them back together. He loved shooting and fixing guns, and collected guns and knives. When he wanted to relax and reflect he would listen to SRV, watch old Western movies and sit around a fire and drink a beer with friends. Michael was always there for the people he loved.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Ray Johnson, II, and grandmother, Paula K. Johnson.

He is survived by his mother, Dana M. Johnson; grandfather, Michael Ray Johnson, Sr.; sister, Kayla M. Moore; nephews, Cargyle and Conway Moore; God daughter, Sophi M. Grainger, as well as other family members and many friends.

Viewing will be held 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the funeral home. Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 8 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon. He will be laid to rest at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, next to his father at a later date.
