Noble Leon Ragland

Noble Ragland passed peacefully at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, on June 28, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on June 14, 1944, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Noble was the son of Woodrow Kelsey Ragland and Muriel Bernice Ragland.  He grew up on a farm south of Cloud Chief, Oklahoma in Washita County. He graduated from Cordell Highschool in 1962 and worked his way through college and graduated in 1972 from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma, with a bachelor's degree in business. He married Amy Harrison in 1966. They raised one son, Leon, together. They attended Discovery Church for many years and made wonderful friends there. He liked going to auto auctions, which led him to open his own used auto business in Yukon. In these years, he helped many people with their cars. He was generous with his time and always willing to help.

Preceding Noble in death were his parents, Woodrow and Bernice Ragland; and Sister, Glenna Taylor. Noble is survived by his wife, Amelia (Amy) Ragland; son, Leon Kelvin Ragland and spouse Jamie Ragland; grandchildren, Brittney Miller and Brandon Ragland; great grandchild, Halen Miller; Sisters, Winnie Gather and Anita Zavadil; and seven nieces and three nephews.

A private viewing for family will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Discovery Church in Yukon, Oklahoma with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
