Norma "Jean" Williams

Norma "Jean" Duff Williams, age 90, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 18, 1934, in Winterset, Iowa, Jean lived a life marked by deep devotion to her family, her faith, and her many creative talents.

A talented quilter, crocheter, seamstress, and cook, Jean poured her love into everything she created. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, where everyone was welcome and well-fed. She was known for her fierce love of family, her generous spirit, and her tireless work ethic. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved will be remembered always.

Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert G. Williams Sr.; son Herbert Glenn Williams Jr.; granddaughter Staci Denise Williams; parents Roy Marshall and Wanda Maleta Duff; and many other cherished family members. She is survived by her sister Patricia Downs; brother Robert Duff; children Micheal Craig Williams and wife Melinda, Robin Michelle Williams, Kimberly Sue Williams and husband Mark, and Kristi Leah Wright and husband Kyle. Jean was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was also dearly loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

A public viewing will take place from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home in Yukon, Oklahoma. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Yanda & Son Funeral Home on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, Jean will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Jean's loving and generous spirit.
