Orville "Dwan" Duff

Orville "Dwan" Duff, 74, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his home in Yukon, OK. He was born April 11, 1951 in Hinton, OK to Orville Moody and Clara Mae (Gray) Duff.

Dawn was 9 years old when the family moved to Yukon, OK, where he grew up, attending First Baptist Church and lived until his death. Dwan graduated from Yukon High School in 1969 and went on to earn his Associate Degree. He retired from Firestone after many years as a tire builder.

Dwan married his wife, Dixie in Las Vegas on February 7, 1999, and they enjoyed many happy years together.

Dwan was competitive in sports throughout his adult life.  As a younger adult he played tennis, rode bicycles and motorcycles and loved to race cars, later switching to dominoes, table tennis, pool and poker.  He enjoyed nothing more than beating anyone at a serious game of table tennis, having many matches in his garage.  He took it personally when he lost.   So many have fond memories of their interactions with Dwan. He had many friends that would have done anything for him. He was unique, humble, faithful, reliable, competitive, compassionate, kind, genuine, energetic and generous. From the time he was an infant he hated having his picture made and would often hide to avoid it. He bought his mom and dad their first color TV when he was just 16, a console Sears Silvertone. He not only would mow his yard, but he would mow the whole neighborhood's yard if they let him.

Dwan was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife Dixie, and his twin sisters, Janie McKinney and Jeanie Duff. He also leaves behind many friends, nieces, great nephews a great niece and cousins. Dwan also leaves behind his ever-faithful companion, his chihuahua Tator who will be lost without him

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK.
