Pamela Kay Gorrell

Pam Kay Gorrell, 69, passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 3, 2023. Pam worked on two Associates degrees in her life, one in Physical Therapy and the other in Horticulture. Although she worked in several fields, her true love was horticulture, and her home was always full of beautiful plants and flowers. Pam began playing soccer at 36 years of age and coached her children's soccer teams as well as her niece's soccer team. She loved soccer and played indoor until she was 60 years of age on teams including her sons and grandchildren. Pam was also a Christian and a loving caregiver for her family and extended family and hosted most family gatherings in her later years. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Corkle; father, Robert Corkle; brother, Dale Corkle and her son, Kevin Gorrell.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Marcie Gaston and her husband, Andy Gaston, and their 3 children Kaylee, Delaney and Jacob; son, Dereck Gorrell and his wife Kasey Gorrell and their children Shyla and Jesse Coonfield, Dalton and Jessika Gorrell, Kinsey Blevins and Jenna Blevins; sons of Kevin Gorrell, Robert Gorrell and Nicholas Gorrell; sister, Susie Evans and her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jason Albro; sister-in-law, Cheryl Corkle and her daughter and son-in-law, Niki and Jeff Williams; sister-in-law, Bonnie and Carl Franklin and their children Shannon, John, and Josh; children of Debbie Gayler, Misty Mendenhall, Christy Mendenhall, and Nick Mendenhall; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Rhett, Sawyer, Elizabeth, Cain and great nieces and nephews, Nicole, Nate, and Mady. Also, honorary friends Dean Cummings and family, and Richey Munden and family.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Yanda & Son Chapel, Yukon, OK.
