Patrick Dennis Estes

Patrick Dennis Estes was born to Rilla and Henry Estes on March 17, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK, and after a long illness he left this Earth on August 15, 2024 in Yukon, OK.

Patrick grew up in and attended school at Deer Creek (Edmond) graduating in 1964. He worked in the Construction business for several years before making a career in the oil field. Patrick loved sports of all kinds but followed College, Major League Baseball and any level of Basketball religiously. He loved his family and extended family of lifelong friends who he stayed in touch with until the end. Patrick had an almost photographic memory for birthdays, phone numbers and special occasions. If it was your Birthday, you knew you were going to get a call from Patrick.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sylvia and brother Leroy. He is survived by his wife Janice of the home; daughter Angela; stepson Larry Davis and his wife Ashlee; stepdaughter Kimberly Samuel and husband Marcus and niece Trisha Hutcherson and husband Eric; grandchildren: Kevin Hoffmeister, Nathan Corey, Dustin Davis, and Shyla Dickson; great-granddaughter Lynlee Davis, and grand-nephew Adam Hutcherson.

The family would like to thank the loving care that was given to Patrick by Melissa, Tressa and Chaplin Larry of Good Shepherd Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with interment following at the Whisler Cemetery, Edmond, OK.
