Philip Kenneth Armstrong

Philip K. Armstrong passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on April 17, 1942, to Paul E. Armstrong and Katherine Venita Cox Armstrong.

He spent the majority of his life in Oklahoma City and Yukon, Oklahoma. Phil was a 1961 graduate of Northwest Classen High School. After graduation he worked at Cool Temp as an installer for a short period of time, then was a phone solicitor for several years. Phil also worked for Norick Brothers Printing Company as a printer until his retirement. Philip had one son from a previous marriage, and then on October 9, 1963, Philip married Barbara Ann Srock. Together they had three sons and one daughter. Philip was an avid member of the Oklahoma City Model Train Museum and loved spending time with his fellow members. Philip was a musician, sailor, carpenter, and loved music.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home, son Maurice Armstrong and wife Lizabeth of Blanchard; son Brett Armstrong and wife Nora of Oklahoma City; daughter Phyllis Kay Davis of Musting; son Allen Armstrong of Mustang; and son David Armstrong and wife Sharon of Yukon; Grandchildren, Alden Armstrong, Brett  Armstrong, Jr, Angela Armstrong, Miranda Glenn, Tyler Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, Caleb Armstrong, Serena Campos, Bailey Armstrong, Wyatt Armstrong, Austin Armstrong, Brandon Armstrong, and Jordan Armstrong; great grandchildren, Axden Armstrong, Hayden Armstrong, Asher Armstrong, Adrian Armstrong, and Selena Campos, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul E Armstrong and Katherine Venita Cox Armstrong, and brother Paul E Armstrong, Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
