Richard Earl Ballard, Jr.

Richard Earl Ballard, Jr., age 80, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020. He was born August 25, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Richard E. Ballard, Sr. and Margaret Susan Ballard.

Richard lived in El Reno, OK. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Hinton Pentecostal Church. He loved fishing, traveling, singing, and playing the drums. He loved his family.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard E. Ballard, Sr. and Margaret Susan Ballard, and brother, Ronnie Ballard.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ballard of El Reno; son, Rodney Ballard and wife Ronna; son, Gary Ballard and wife Shirley; son, Randy Ballard and wife Shannon; daughter, Kris Boon and husband Brian; daughter, Penny Harvey; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and two brothers and sisters.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Faith Family Church, 1205 Sunset Dr., El Reno, OK.
