Richard Lee Bucher

Richard Lee Bucher was born September 6, 1943 in canton, IL, and passed from this life on June 9, 2025 in Yukon, OK. Richard proudly served his country in the Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He moved to Mustang, OK, in 1982, later settled in Yukon, OK.

Richard dedicated many years of his professional career working in maintenance on machines at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. After retiring in 1998, he enjoyed working as a cashier at Walmart. He was an active member of the senior center in Yukon, where he found joy in helping serve meals to fellow senior citizens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Caleb Bucher; brothers, Aubrey and Gerald Bucher; sister, Jean Anderson, and daughters, Alicia Ledet and Sheila Sober.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Mary Bucher, and sons, Michael Slusser, and Steven Bucher.

Memorial donations may be made to The Gate Church in Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK, with interment following at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
