Robert "Bob" Steven Mallam

Robert Steven Mallam, lovingly known as “Bob,” passed away on July 23, 2026. He was born on December 17, 1950, in Concordia, Kansas, to Chuck and Audrey Mallam. He was raised in Clyde, Kansas, where he excelled in high school athletics. Throughout the years, he often shared fond memories of growing up in this close-knit farming community.

Bob valued family, hard work, and the relationships he built throughout his life. He was a man of faith who loved the Lord. He found strength and guidance in his relationship with God and reflected that love through the way he cared for his family and friends.

Bob worked as a delivery driver for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 25 years, where he was known for his dependability and the many friendships he formed along the way. Following his retirement from UPS, he served as a Field Deputy Assessor for Canadian County.

Outside of work, Bob found great joy in the things he loved most. He was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He also had a deep appreciation for rodeo and proudly supported the Oklahoma State University Rodeo Team. For several years, Bob entertained rodeo crowds as "Bullet Bob" alongside his dog, Nicki. His humor, enthusiasm, and willingness to bring smiles to others made those moments memorable.

Above all, Bob treasured his family. He created a lifetime of cherished memories with those he loved, and his legacy of faith, love, loyalty, and devotion will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose kindness, steady presence, and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Glenda; his daughters, Stephanie Mallam and Shannon Mallam; his brother, Ron Mallam and wife Pat; his sister, Susan Jackson and husband Jim; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Yeats and husband Marion, and Donna Lanell Finefrock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Mallam; his parents, Chuck and Audrey Mallam; and his sister, Karen Appleby.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Yanda & Son Funeral Home in Yukon, Oklahoma.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Covenant Community Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Frisco Cemetery in Yukon.

Bob's family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
