Robert Lee Symes

Robert Lee Symes, age 77, passed away peacefully on, November 29, 2022, at his home in Yukon Oklahoma. He was born on September 3, 1945, in Oklahoma City.

In 1969 he founded his own trucking and excavating company, 'Robert L Symes Trucking,' which he successfully ran for 51 years, along the side of his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Symes; their daughters, Susan (Symes) and Shayne Russell, Cindy Symes and Berl Everhartt, and Brenda (Symes) and Craig Smith; grandchildren:  Crystal Symes, Shannon Russell, Brandon Smith, Andrew Symes, and Kayla and Haven Smith, and seven sisters.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Lola Symes; three sisters; one brother, and granddaughter, Bailey Smith.

Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3 at Canadian County Cowboy Church, Yukon, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
