Robert Paul Walker

Robert "Bob" "Bobby" Paul Walker, age 65, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025. Bob Walker was born on May 23, 1959, to William and Barbara (Keeling) Walker. Bob experienced a childhood filled with adventure as his family moved frequently due to his father's service in the Air Force.

Bob dedicated much of his professional life as a manager in the tire industry, where his knowledge about the industry and his work ethic were deeply respected. Outside of work, he was an avid sports enthusiast, passionately cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Oklahoma Sooners, and Texas Rangers. You could always talk to him about sports, and he could tell you just about anything about his teams or his favorite players. He fostered that love of sports in his family too. He was also a huge fan of Classic Country music.

Bob was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was very thoughtful and seldom purchased something for himself without getting something for someone else. He loved doing things for those he loved. He was a beloved son, brother, dad, and grandpa – and his absence on this earth will be felt deeply.

Bob's greatest joy in life came from his family. He deeply loved his children, Kyle and Kaylee, and was immensely proud of the people they had become. His grandsons, Noah and Kaden, were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them, always supporting and encouraging them with his whole heart.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Col. Bill Walker; his mother, Barbara Walker; and his sister, Susan Horton. He is survived by his loving son, Kyle Walker, and wife Karen, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; his devoted daughter, Kaylee Walker, of Yukon, Oklahoma; and his cherished grandsons, Noah Walker and Kaden Walker; his brother Bill Walker, and two sisters: Deborah Janet and Laura Markwardt. He also leaves behind numerous nieces who adored him.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Yanda & Son Funeral Home in Yukon, Oklahoma.
