Rodney Allen Parker

Rodney Allen Parker was born on April 1st, 1953, in El Reno OK and departed on May 21, 2024.

Rod was preceded in death by his father, Lester Parker and his mother, Juanita Steenrod Parker.  He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Lanny & Donna Palmer, his children, Sean Parker and his spouse Tamara Parker, Chad Parker and his spouse Hien Parker, and Lacey Parker Brinlee and her spouse Kody Brinlee, as well as his grandchildren, Tyndelle Parker & Kaisen Brinlee.

Rod graduated from Yukon High School and was drafted into the Navy soon after.  It was in High School where he discovered his passion for the Arts, especially Pottery, and it was his dream to one day have a pottery studio of his own.

Rod loved finding treasures at garage sales or antique shops that he could breathe new life and purpose into.

Rod was a lover of our great country, the 2nd Amendment and Harley Davidson!  You could find him riding his motorcycle every chance he got.

Most of all, Rod loved his children and grandchildren.  He was extremely involved in their lives and never missed a band concert, graduation or even just a chance to join them for dinner and a movie.  In fact, on Saturday nights, he could be found watching Svengoolie with his granddaughter curled up next to him.

Rod was beloved by his children, and he will be sorely missed, but remembered with hundreds and hundreds of wonderful memories.

A private viewing will be held at 11:00 A.M., at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Celebration of life services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK.
