Roger Hal Martin

Roger H. Martin, age 78, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on May 30, 1947, in Monroe, Louisiana.

Roger joined the United States Air Force after high school. He then went on to serve as an Oklahoma City police officer for 10 years. After his time as a police officer, Roger drove semi-trucks across the country until he retired. In 1992 he married Carole and moved to Yukon, becoming a beloved stepdad, step-granddad, and step-great-granddad over the years.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother Beulah Martin; father Harold Martin, and brothers Reggie and Robert Martin. He is survived by wife Carole Shaver-Martin; son Hal Martin, his wife Jayme, and their family; daughter Pamela Neidlinger, husband Rob, and their family; sister April Seger; grandchildren:  Corey and Micki Martin, Brittany and Kaleb Peckham, Blaine Martin, and Chelsey Smith; great grandchildren Kaylie, Brinley, Teddy, Eloise, Rayna, and Devyn, and his stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Yukon, OK, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
