Ronald "Ron" Joseph Wolf

Ronald "Ron" Joseph Wolf, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma, on October 1, 2024. Born on March 6, 1948, in Oklahoma City, he was a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man.

Ron graduated from Mount Saint Mary's High School in 1966. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970, during which he was deployed to Vietnam and Okinawa. A lifelong supporter of his fellow veterans, he was a member of VFW Post 382 and American Legion Post 34. In 1971, Ron began a long career at Dayton Tire Company, where he worked until his retirement in 2002. He moved to Yukon in 1978, where he continued to build a life filled with love and community. Ron married Beverly Jolene Spencer on July 22, 1978, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, and they shared 46 wonderful years together. Ron was a dedicated member of Saint John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, where he found spiritual fulfillment and friendship.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Elizabeth Wolf. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly; his sister, Rosalie Griffin and husband Bill of Atlanta, Texas; sister Jeanette Haley of Chandler, Oklahoma; brother Tom Wolf and wife Sue of Newkirk, Oklahoma; sister Cathy Wolf Cates of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law Steve Spencer and wife Toni of Oklahoma City; his best friend, Luis Kirkham; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Viewing will be held at Yanda & Son Funeral Home on Monday, October 7, 2024, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., with Wake services beginning at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., with interment following at 1:30 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
