Ross Leon Felix

Ross Leon Felix, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Leon was born on July 4, 1940, in Anthony, Kansas. He later moved to Douglas, Oklahoma, where he was raised on his family farm. He attended OSU where he played college baseball. He had a love for cars and sports. He devoted his life to Christ, which he held close to his heart. He married his wife Donnis in 1965, and they raised Dean and Laura in Oklahoma City. Leon was a truck driver for the majority of his life. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. He loved his family and helping others. Leon will be deeply missed by loved ones and friends.

Leon is survived by sister Cheryl Robinette of Enid, OK; brother Terry Felix of Enid, OK; son Dean and wife Melynda Sidwell of Mustang, OK; son-in-law Robert Rush, Jr. of Yukon, OK; grandchildren Kaleigh and husband Anthony Mellendorf, Lauren Beeson, Megan Sidwell, Dustin Rush, and Heather Sidwell; and great-grandchildren Alexa, Trinity, Benjamin, and Gavin. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Donnis Felix; daughter Laura Rush; parents Ross and Helen Felix; and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK.
