Rudy Sanchez, Jr.

Rudy Sanchez, Jr., 50, gained his wings on Monday, August 22 ^nd , 2022 at Mercy Hospital after battling kidney cancer.

Rudy was born on November 1 ^st, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Rudy Sr. and Sylvia Sanchez. Rudy started his career as a firefighter at the El Reno Fire Department in 2005. He then moved to the Yukon Fire Department in 2007, serving a total of 14 years. He played a vital role in the safety and quality of life of Yukon. He married Stormi Sanchez on April 21 ^st , 2007. They raised 4 beautiful children; Mercedes, Rylee, Bailey, and Denton. Rudy enjoyed spending time with family, friends and playing his harmonica.

He is survived by his wife, Stormi Sanchez; 4 children:  Mercedes, Rylee, Bailey, and Denton; parents, Rudy Sr. and Sylvia Sanchez; sister, Stephanie Miller, and 4 grandchildren:  Parker, Tatum, Maddox, and Cooper.

A memorial service to celebrate Rudy's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25 ^th , at Life.Church, 1101 E. Main St., Yukon, OK.
