Shawn David Talley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn David Talley, 44, of Yukon, Oklahoma, who left this world far too soon on the morning of January 24, 2025. Born on March 16, 1980, in Oklahoma City to Nickey and Judy Talley, Shawn was a light in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

A proud graduate of Yukon High School's Class of 1999, Shawn began his career working at Mazzio's, where his dedication and work ethic were admired by many. Later, he discovered his passion and calling as an electrician, where he took pride in his craft and contributions. But for Shawn, life was about so much more than work—it was about adventure, connection, and the deep love he held for his children and family.

Shawn found joy in the outdoors, fishing by calm waters, riding dirt bikes, and cruising on four-wheelers. He embraced life fully, creating countless cherished memories with his children, who he loved with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nickey Talley; his grandparents, Olin and Cotton Talley; John Starcher; and Aunt Tanda Talley.

Shawn leaves behind his greatest pride and joy—his children, Nick, Noah, and Gracie Talley. He is also survived by his loving mother, Judy Tripp; his brothers, Shane and Shannon Talley; the mother of his children, Michelle Quinn; and countless extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 1, at 11:00 a.m. at LifeChurch in Yukon. Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather to honor Shawn's beautiful life, share cherished stories, and remember the love, laughter, and light he brought to the world. Though Shawn's time with us has ended, his legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.
