Stephen "Steve" Lee Lewin

Stephen “Steve” Lee Lewin, loved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 75.

Steve was born on September 27, 1951 to Jewell Lewin and Verba Jane Schultz and was raised in Kingman, Kansas. After graduating high school, Steve joined the Navy and served for four years sailing around the world. He was honorably discharged. After service, Steve moved back to Kingman and married his ex-wife, Kim, with whom he had two kids, Andrea and Michael. Steve and Kim moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma from Salina, Kansas in 1981. There Steve attended USAO and received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Steve then went on to become a professional photographer, specializing in black and white film development. In 1988 he moved with his family to Oklahoma City. It was in 1992 when he opened his business, Black and White Overnight, and where he would meet his wife, Charlotte Barnes. Steve would eventually bring Charlotte on to help run the business. After Charlotte’s passing in 2024, Steve would sell their house in the Village and move to Yukon to be closer to family. There he would pass peacefully in his sleep.

Steve is survived by his two children, Andrea Johnson and husband Matt, and Michael Lewin; two grandchildren, Brooks and Jack; his two brothers, Jim and John; and many nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.

Steve is predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Barnes; parents, Jewell and Jane Lewin; and sister, Susan Stecklein.

Steve will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
