Sue Leach

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sue Leach, a beloved mother, nonnie, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024. Sue was born in Binger, Oklahoma, to Amil and Lois Opitz, who instilled in her a deep love for family and community.

Sue married the love of her life, Jud Leach, and together they built a life filled with love and shared dreams. Sue was the proud owner of The Arrangement for over 35 years, where her creativity and dedication brought joy to so many.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, Jud Leach, and her parents, Amil and Lois Opitz. She is survived by her daughter, Aundrea McPherson; her cherished granddaughters, Piper and Sydnee McPherson; her son-in-law, Clint McPherson; her loving sister, Sandra Baker; her brother, Albert Opitz; and her dear nieces and nephew, Laura Mantooth, Dana Hanthorn, and Cody Opitz.

Sue's warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
