Thomas Allen Bomhoff

Thomas Allen Bomhoff age 82, was born December 3, 1940 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to parents Elmer and Thelma Noel Bomhoff. He passed away on July 15, 2023 at the VA hospital in Oklahoma City surrounded by his family. He graduated from Okarche High School in 1958. He served in the United States Navy from August 1958 to August 1964 on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He served in the Army National Guard from November 1980 to December 1983. He worked for American Trailers for 15 years. He retired from Xerox after 25 years.

On April 25, 1969 he married the love of his life Mary Ann Bomhoff. They were blessed with daughters Denise Ann, Lisa Dawn, Melissa Gayle and Teresa Lynn. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors going to the lake, camping, hunting, fishing and his walkabouts at the park with his friends he fondly referred to as the committee.

He is predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Thelma, in-laws, Bill and Jean Meade, brothers, Larry and John and his loving wife Mary Ann of 47 years.

He is survived by his sister Sharon; daughters, Denise and Chris Ward, Lisa and Craig Simpson, Melissa and Jimmy Parker and Teresa and Chuck Hall. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jerrod Ryburn, Wyatt Ward, Haley, Katie and Clayton Simpson, Weston Early, Taylor Parker, Kali Roberts, Hayden Flanery, and Faith Hall and great granddaughter, Millie Ann due in August; sisters-in-law Cindy Bomhoff, Diane Bomhoff, and Barbara and Rudy Gonzalez and brother-in-law, Mark Meade, as well as nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends.

Tom will forever be truly missed. We will miss his laughter, wisdom and creative ingenuity. He always saw the positive in every situation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yukon Mobile Meals or Center of Family Love.

Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2023, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
