Timothy Ray Stein

Timothy Ray Stein, 59, of Piedmont, Oklahoma, passed away on November 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on August 27, 1966, in Oklahoma City to Jerry and Billye Stein, Tim lived a life defined by love, service, and quiet strength.

A proud graduate of Ponca City High School and Northern Oklahoma College, Tim built a diverse and accomplished career. He worked as a glass glazier and later as a real estate appraiser. Known as a true jack of all trades, Tim could fix or build just about anything. His hands were rarely idle—whether restoring classic cars, crafting with wood in his shop, or tinkering with projects that reflected his creativity and skill.

Tim's heart was rooted deeply in his family. He shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife Wanda Stein. Together they built a life full of adventure and joy, often traveling side by side and creating memories that will be treasured forever. He was a loving father to Courtney Kline and her husband Ben; Jeremy Stein and his wife Holly; and Hunter Stein. As "Papa," he found immense joy in spoiling his granddaughters Lettie and Dottie Kline—moments with them were among his most cherished.

He is also remembered with love by his mother Billye Stein; sister Tammy Rogers and her husband Bill; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched through his kindness and generosity.

Tim's hobbies reflected the essence of who he was: hunting in the great outdoors where he found peace; woodworking that showcased both patience and precision; restoring cars that brought old beauty back to life; and spending time in his shop where imagination met craftsmanship. Above all else, he found purpose in serving the Lord by helping others—a calling he fulfilled not through grand gestures but through everyday acts of compassion.

Those who knew Tim speak of an amazing husband, father, papa, son, and friend whose gentle spirit left an indelible mark on everyone around him. His unwavering compassion and servant's heart made him a source of comfort to many. Whether offering a helping hand or simply being present with quiet understanding, Tim embodied grace in action.

His legacy is one of love freely given, work done with integrity, faith lived humbly yet powerfully—and above all—a life centered around those he held dear.
