Travis Duane Rodgers

Travis Duane "Outlaw" Rodgers, age 51, died May 9 ^th , 2023, at OU Medical Health in Oklahoma City, OK. Travis was born to Karen Anne Koch and Danny Earl Rodgers on April 10 ^th , 1972, in Reedsport, Oregon. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Kelly James Rodgers; daughter Mikaela (26); two grandchildren, Hadley Dawn (6) and Paxton Lane (2); mother and father, Karen and Dan Rodgers, and brother, Jason Rodgers.

Travis lived his life, as he would put it as an Outlaw. He had a tough exterior but a kind and gentle heart and soul. There are many things that made Travis who he was as a person. His smart wit and quick comebacks were one of few reasons we loved him so much. He made a room light up with life with his stories and jokes. His laugh was infectious, and you couldn't help but smile and join in with him when you heard it.

He spent 12 years in the Air Force and left with honors as a Staff Sergeant in 2003. From there Travis spent another near 9 years working overseas as a Civilian Government Contractor for KBR. When Travis returned home, he began working for DHL as a supervisor and was then promoted to station manager in Oklahoma City.

Travis enjoyed playing video games with his friends and son in law. He enjoyed watching movies and playing with his grandkids. He enjoyed Friday night dinners at Chelino's Mexican Restaurant with his wife, Kelly.

Viewing will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 12:00 noon.
