Vicki Cohlmia Jones

Vicki Cohlmia Jones, age 71, of Yukon, OK, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's and dementia. She was born on October 26, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Victor and Elizabeth Cohlmia.

Vicki spent her early years in Wichita before moving to Wichita Falls, Texas, during high school. It was there that she met the love of her life, Paul Jones, while attending Midwestern University. The two married on January 11, 1975, and went on to build a beautiful life together, raising four children: Kristen (born October 1976), Adrienne (August 1980), Stephen (August 1982), and Bryan (July 1986).

A dedicated professional, Vicki earned her degree in Accounting from Midwestern University and worked for several CPA firms before joining Fred Jones Ford/ATC Drivetrain in 1993. She remained there for 22 years until her retirement in 2017.

Vicki found her greatest joy in family. She loved cheering on her children at their sporting events, baking cookies for neighborhood kids, and hosting gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. A passionate football fan and faithful friend, she also found deep fulfillment in serving others—particularly through her involvement at several Life.Church campuses. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Vicki is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Paul Jones; her children: Kristen Jones Colby (Brandon), Adrienne Jones Burchett (Aaron), Stephen Jones (Samantha Sims Jones), and Bryan Jones (Jamie Ruffino Jones). She is also survived by her eight cherished grandchildren: Lauren and Cory Jones (twins), Christian Jones, Laynee Jones, Presley Burchett, Conner Burchett, Jaxon Colby, and Lucy Jones.

A celebration of Vicki's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Life.Church Yukon, located at 1101 E. Main Street, Yukon, OK 73099.
