Victoria Ann Wilson

Victoria Ann Taylor was born on December 2, 1946, to Paul and Mary Lela Taylor in Joplin, Missouri. She passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at home in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Vicki gave her heart to The Lord at an early age and maintained that relationship throughout her life. She graduated Pittsburg State University with a master's degree in elementary education and went on to teach 6th grade at Stapleton Elementary in the Joplin Missouri R-8 school system for eight years. She left teaching behind when she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dennis Wilson, on June 12, 1977.

Vicki followed many pursuits during her life – She spent time as a docent at the Oklahoma City Zoo and making and selling crafts at various craft fairs. Later, she worked as a teacher at the Path of Life School in Guthrie, OK for 12 years. Her former students all remember her with great fondness. She kept in touch with many of them and their children even after she retired. But more than any hobby or role, her true passion was loving people. She poured her time, energy, and heart into everyone around her, leaving a lasting impression that will live on in the lives she touched.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Lela Taylor, and her brother, Tom. Vicki leaves to mourn her passing her husband Dennis of the home, one sister-in-law Sharon Taylor of Webb City, Missouri, and the entire Wilson family, all of whom feel her loss deeply.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Church of God Chapel in Guthrie, OK. Interment will follow at Frisco Cemetery in Yukon, OK.
