Virginia Ann Dillon

Virginia Dillon was born on November 12, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas, and passed away on July 14, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married Samuel "Sonny" Dillon on September 1, 1959.

Virginia worked for many years with the Social Security Disability Department and was a survivor of the Murrah Building bombing. A strong-willed and wise woman, she found great joy in gardening and took pride in maintaining an immaculate yard. She had a deep faith in Jesus and was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Yukon.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel "Sonny" Dillon; her mother, Bessie Ball; her father, Woodford Orcutt; her brother, Robert Orcutt; and her sister, June Nixon.

Virginia is survived by her son, Richard Dillon, and daughter-in-law, Michelle Dillon; her granddaughters, Lauren and Emily Summerville; and her nephews, Vic Orcutt and wife Donna, David Nixon and wife Janice, and Randy Nixon.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma.
