Walmar "Wally" Wendolin Frank Ii

Walmar W. Frank II (Wally) was born at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City on May 18, 1943. He was the oldest child of the Rev. Walmar W. and Lillie Mae Frank. Wally was an Eagle Scout in Troop 26 in Tulsa. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in physical education. In college, he fell in love with golf and was an avid golfer his entire life until his health prevented him from playing the game he loved. Wally moved to Yukon in the '60s and remained there the rest of his life. He loved Yukon. In the years he lived on Westbury Golf Course he was awarded, "Prettiest Yard in the Neighborhood" several times. He was the owner of Wally's Kerr-McGee on the corner of N.W. 39 th Expressway and Council Road from its inception in 1971 to the time of its closing in 2002. After retiring from the service station business he worked for Walker Sign Co. and Triangle A & E. On July 6 th , 2004, he and Marcia were married in Gunnison, Colorado, and they enjoyed many family camping trips to the Sargent, CO area.

Wally loved life, golf, babies and children. He was multitalented, and was known and loved for his friendly, outgoing personality. He loved gardening, beautiful things, Colorado, and the life he and Marcia built together. She and his daughters and siblings were with him in his and Marcia's home when he left this life. We would like to thank his doctors and Russell-Murray Hospice for their care and comfort.

Surviving Wally are his wife Marcia Frank, daughters Angie Gilbert and Christi Frank, brother Gerald Frank, sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth Frank and Harry Newman, their daughter Rebecca Thomson and her husband, Ryan, stepsons Jason and Matthew Munda and his wife Katie Munda, grandchildren Amanda Glover, Jared Neal, Samantha Brackett, Keira Frank, Kegan Munda and Olivia Munda, and great-grandchildren Gavin, Nicholas, Hadley, Annistyn, Callen and Cam.

A celebration of Wally's life is planned for Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Surrey Hills Golf and Country Club.
