William Leroy Weirick

William L. Weirick, age 83, was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his home in Yukon, OK. He was born October 12, 1939 in Kalamazoo, MI to Robert and Dorothy Weirick, the youngest of seven children.

He spent his career in education as a teacher and principal and eventually becoming the Vice President of a college.

William loved his wife Shirley and their blended families. A dedicated servant, he loved the Lord and was an active member and Deacon of Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany, OK. He had a passion for helping others and was a blessing to the many people whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Weirick; children:  Carrie Weirick, Cathy Weirick, William M. Weirick and Mary Alice, and grandchildren:  Melany, Emma, Allison, Alania, and Melissa, and Colin Weirick.

Viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Council Road Baptist Church, Bethany, OK. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK.
